Our services include non-destructive testing, consultancy, digital imaging, quality assurance and quality control. Industries currently serviced include Offshore, Ministry of Defence, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and Power sectors. Our modern purpose-built facility is fully equipped to the highest standards with a Quality Management system in place for both lab and on-site inspection.

With a fully qualified core staff of 10 and a “call on” reserve of over 60 personnel, Argos can provide a rapid and professional response to any request, whether it be onshore, offshore or worldwide. All of our facilities are fully staffed twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week throughout the year and with over 40 years’ experience our quality of workmanship, reliability and client commitment is exceptional.

COMPANY HISTORY

In June 1980 an independent inspection company was formed to meet the requirements of the many Northeast and UK based engineering firms who were, at a variety of levels, becoming involved with non-destructive testing and associated services.

Over the years Argos Inspection has become fully established in fulfilling specialised requirements of many companies to whom outsourcing of services is an essential component of their day-to-day activities to ensure and maintain the highest quality standards demanded in today’s industry.

Through a carefully planned expansion programme, Argos has successfully acquired many major contracts. Major investment by the Company in 1989 enabled Argos to build the first “purpose built” non-destructive testing laboratory in the country, complete with state-of-the-art equipment. This allowed the company to maintain quality standards during a time of expansion and ensured our clients received a superior service. This facility has been considered by many to be one of the best in Europe and has continued to set new standards in the world of non-destructive testing. 

Recent challenges facing industry have facilitated a shift of focus from outsourcing individual services to providing a complete N.D.T.solutions package. Argos has evolved so that we can offer a range of inspection services to Clients.

Whilst Argos is not the only independent services company, we strongly believe that our facility, technology infrastructure, quality control, project management, rapid response and competitive pricing positions Argos as the premier total N.D.T. solutions company to date.
